OK staff members this is Classlink tutorial advanced tutorial for apps only. As you can see once you sign-in Classlink should automatically pop up. If it doesn't go ahead and signout and sign back in and it will and it will automatically pop up. If it doesn't submit a ticket, and I will get to it as soon as I can. The way you add apps if you see my other tutorials is by clicking the plus sign. I did not go into detail last time, but this is the app library. Automatically you are on the Featured section which is highlighted in baby blue. There is a line right under it. It has apps like ABC Mouse, ABCya, and the TED app, Picture Editor, which is a really cool program. You guys should really try and check out and see if you like before you have students try it out. Here's Most Popular. Google Drive, Office 365 which has a key symbol on it. We do not have Office 365 as of yet. If you scroll down you will see other apps. There's Coolmath, a very popular one. There's One-Click Single Sign-On which means any of these apps, once you login it will save your information on your password locker, and you will not have to login again for the rest of the year. See the password locker changes if you make a mistake and get the wrong account so that way you can clear it. The Livingston Union School District Library. Again, ABC Mouse and Google Maps. There's Front Row for students. You can edit to your user interface. Again, how to add you just click once and it says remove. When it says remove do not click on it because if you click it it will remove it as soon add it. Let's go ahead and close this window. Go back again to the plus sign and back up. Go ahead and click on Categories. I wasn't, I didn't have to close the screen, I just needed to scroll up again. Categories, here's where you're gonna get most of the apps. If you click on here, you can get anything from Graphing, Audio, and Video apps to Automotive apps, Banking apps, Career and Jobs apps, Denmark apps, Education. This one has categories all on its own. Let me go ahead and scroll down a little bit more, just so you all can see the rest of the options that were on the education tab. You have Music apps just for Education alone, College Readiness, Current Event/News, Economics, English/Language Arts, General Education, U.S. History, Research, Mathematics, non-applicable, Physical Education. Now go ahead and scroll down even further. Oops lets go back up just a bit. And it seems like that is the bottom. Not seeing anything. Oh there's Science I'm using the down arrow on the keyboard because I couldn't see anything else so that actually makes your taskbar move down one. So you use the down arrow. So you have Physical Education, Science, Health Education. Now you can use the mouse pointer. Oops just lost it. I'll go back up to Education. And let's go ahead and try English/Language Arts. Click on it. You will see 5 Minute English, About, Achieve 3000, and so forth. You can add any of these applications that you wish to use. There's Badanamu. I don't know what that is. Scholastic Go. That one has a password locker on it. It saves your information so you don't have to login all the time. Again, we can go ahead and go to Music. Here are some music apps and art. Artsonia. Scroll down. Juxio. Scroll up a little more. Language Arts. Let's go ahead and try. We tried Music, Economics. General Education. There's 10 Minutes, 360 Learning, 50States.com. Again ABCMouse and Acellus. So you have Electronics and Computers. Let's go here. There's CNET, Aviso, Averware, and so forth. Let's go ahead and try downloading one quick. CNET. Scroll back up to get access to the Category section. Scroll back down. Education. Current Events/News. We have eSchool News, NASA, Time for Kids. Go and edit. I will scroll back up instead of closing the X. So you can see you have Fashion, Games and Puzzles, General. Check it out. Check all these tabs and see which one works best for you. Seems like General. These are the General apps. And here are my changes. There's CNET, Time for Kids, and all the apps that I had currently edited when I was seeing this screen here. Let's try the English/Language Arts tab. Big Universe. So go ahead and get rid, go try Featured again, try Most Popular. One-Click Single Sign-On, Livingston Union School District Library, and the Category section. Try what works best for you and for your students, and then hopefully the kids will like the games and puzzles when it's expected. And as you can see here, all the games apps. Not a wide selection, however remember that under Education there was that tab for Coolmath.
